1. User Eligibility & Agreement

By purchasing our goods, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the site under parental guidance. You agree to supply accurate, current, and complete personal and billing information for all orders.

2. Product Descriptions & Pricing

We strive to display our handmade leather items as accurately as possible. However, since we use organic vegetable-tanned hides, slight color variations, minor biological stretch markings, and texturing differences are natural signatures of the hide and do not represent defects.

All prices listed on trueleather.in are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of local taxes unless specified otherwise. We reserve the right to alter pricing, specifications, or categories at any point without prior notice.

3. Order Verification & Cancellations

Receipt of your order does not constitute final approval. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any transaction due to stock constraints, pricing calculation errors, or suspicious activity detected by our payment protection algorithms. In such cases, a full refund is immediately returned to your original payment mode.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All website assets, designs, editorial photographs, layouts, text content, logos, and custom code are the exclusive intellectual property of True Leather. Reproduction or redistribution of these assets without written approval is strictly prohibited under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

5. Limitation of Liability

True Leather shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or website. We maintain maximum quality standards on our vegetable-tanned full-grain leather articles, but their lifecycle depends heavily on correct customer maintenance.

6. Regulatory Compliance (IT Act & DPDPA)

We adhere strictly to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). We act as Data Fiduciaries ensuring lawful and transparent processing of your personal data. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our Privacy Policy, which details your rights under the DPDPA, including data access, correction, and erasure.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of website usage or purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
