Warranty, Repairs & Restorations

True Leather products are built for a lifetime. When you buy our organic vegetable-tanned full-grain pieces, you are investing in a living heritage item. We stand behind our work with a robust repair and warranty program.

1. Lifetime Stitching Warranty

We offer an unconditional Lifetime Stitching Warranty on all bags, jackets, and accessories. If any seam, joint, or hand-stitch comes loose or unravels at any point over the lifecycle of the product, we will repair it at our Kanpur workshop free of charge.

2. 2-Year Hardware Warranty

Our antique solid-brass zippers, buckles, rivets, and hooks are sourced from premium suppliers. We offer a 2-Year Warranty on all functional hardware. If a zipper slider jams, a rivet breaks, or a buckle cracks within 2 years of delivery, we will replace the hardware free of cost.

Beyond 2 years, we will happily perform hardware replacements for a nominal cost covering just the price of the raw brass components.

3. What is Not Covered

Our warranty is structured to protect against craftsmanship and material defects. It does not cover:

• Natural scuffs, cuts, or aesthetic variations acquired during daily wear.
• Damage caused by applying acidic household chemicals, solvents, or sub-standard shoe polish.
• Prolonged water submersion or mold caused by incorrect storage (such as humid basements).
• Independent adjustments or stitching repairs executed by third-party cobblers or tailors.

4. How to Register a Repair Request

If your item requires maintenance:

• Email our workshop at care@trueleather.in or message our WhatsApp concierge at +91 80088 12345.
• Include your original invoice or order confirmation and 3 clear photos highlighting the damaged area.
• Our workshop will assess the issue and provide packing instructions. You will ship the item to Kanpur, and we will handle the rest.
